Congratulations to all the Downshire players who represented Ulster in the Super Senior Inter-Provincials held at Belfast Boat Club at the weekend.

George Lucas and his partner playing number 1 doubles in the 75+ age group won all of their matches as did John Canning and his partner in the 70+ category.

Letty Lucas and her partner playing number 1 doubles in the 70+ category won all of their matches as did Liz Rodgers and Victoria Gallop in their 65+ category. An outstanding performance by all of our members.  Unfortunately Ulster lost out overall by 1 point to Leinster.

A big thank you to Jane Dinnen and Lynne Morrow who helped out Connacht by playing for them in the 70+ category.

SECURITY & LIGHTS

Can we please remind members to switch off the lights in the Dome when you finish playing or when it is bright enough not to need to use them.  On several occasions the lights have been left on for several hours during the day !! Please also lock the gate into the Dome when you finish playing and no one else is around, no matter what time of day it is.  Please lock the gate at the road if you are the last to leave at night.
