A special Club mention to 2 current Downshire members: Adam Fletcher and Chris O’Hara.

Along with their respective day jobs both are qualified line umpires.

Adam has officiated in numerous LTA events in England and Wales including the WTA 500 Eastbourne event in the run up to Wimbledon.

Chris has been working mainly with the Irish Tennis Umpires Association and has officiated at events in Dublin and its wider area to date.

Both gentlemen recently made the trip to the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, London for the LTA Chair Umpire practical course and exam.

We are very pleased and excited to say both passed the course and are now on the LTA roster!
