Supervision Policy

All coaching sessions to be under the charge of a qualified coach with child protection training.

Any travelling or away trips to have an appropriate gender balance amongst coaches/volunteers supervising. 

Coach/volunteer to ensure no unauthorised access to courts being used for the purpose of children’s activities and to changing rooms, showers and toilets being used by children. 

Children not to be permitted to enter clubhouse alone.

Coach/volunteer to ensure no unauthorised exit from children’s activities without prior written permission of parent/guardian. 

Where reasonably practicable there should be a minimum of 2 adults at all children’s activities.

Open door policy at all lessons (whether individual or group lessons) and parents/guardians are encouraged to remain.
